Happy Wednesday friends! I can’t believe how crazy cold it’s been here the last few days. It’s been around -12 here today and unbearably cold. It’s supposed to be in the 50’s though this weekend and I can’t wait! A few weeks ago, my friend Tracy from Tracy Jane Weidel Photography came up to hang out and we shot a bunch of looks. So I’ve been busy trying to get some new posts up on the blog from that. I’ve been working on this post about Pink Lily Boutique over the last few days. I always enjoy sharing new fashion finds with you all so this was definitely a fun one for me to write!
I had been wanting to order clothes from Pink Lily Boutique for ages. On Cyber Monday, I saw they were having some really good sales on their website so I ordered a few things so I could try them out. I wanted to share my first time shopping experience with PLB with you guys and also show you what I purchased! I’ve talked before about how I’ve always been pretty skeptical about ordering things online, but I’ve been doing it a lot more often lately and have had pretty good luck with most things I’ve ordered.
A little more about them… Pink Lily Boutique is an online boutique catering to women who love bright colors and fun prints! I could spend hours looking at their website – so many cute things! Aside from pretty tops, they also have dresses, graphic tees, shoes, jeans, leggings, accessories, rompers, swimwear, athleisure… Just a TON of seriously adorable items. They also offer custom monogramming for a lot of the things that they sell if that’s something you’re interested in too.
Their prices are pretty reasonable and you can usually find a decent coupon code on their website. Their sizes generally range from small – large, but they do occasionally have items up to a 3X. It’s really helpful if you read the reviews on each item you plan to purchase as many pieces fit differently and getting other buyers’ perspectives on how they fit can help you determine how they will fit on you. Shipping took several weeks, but I expected that being that I ordered during the holidays. Shipping is free on orders over $50 and are usually shipped within a week.
Now on to the fun stuff.. what I ordered!
I would have to say my favorite piece that I ordered from Pink Lily was this pretty magenta sweater! I love how bright and colorful it is. I’ve been wearing too many dark colors for so long and this sweater was such a good purchase to brighten up my wardrobe. I got this one in a medium and it fit me perfectly. It’s cute with jeans or leggings as it sits a little longer in the back. Also, such a good transitional sweater going into Spring. It’s on sale right now for $24!
I also got this pretty plum sherpa pullover which I LOVE. I saw it on another fashion blogger actually and had to have. It is super soft, cozy and so warm. I ordered this one in a medium which fits me fine, but I almost wish I would have ordered the large so I could wear it with leggings. Overall, very happy with it though! It’s on sale right now for $28! It also comes in light grey and iced fuchsia (not on sale) and they have discount codes on their site you can use. It comes in brown as well, but currently sold out. Check back in case they restock!
Last but not least, I got this cozy light pink sherpa hoodie in a large. Many of the reviews I read said it ran kind of small and even the large was a bit snug. Overall, it works and fits me fine though. I just probably wouldn’t recommend putting it in the dryer (but I wouldn’t recommend that with any of their clothes – best to hang dry!). Also a really good Spring transitional piece so I’ll be wearing this one for a while. It looks like they are no longer selling this exact one, but they have one that’s almost identical that comes in pink, grey and aqua.
Overall, I’m super happy with my new clothes from Pink Lily Boutique and will definitely be shopping with them again. Their styles are very on trend and just all around cute and colorful. I’m always on the lookout for different online boutiques to check out. If you have one you recommend, let me know in the comments below! Hope you’re staying warm this week!

Ashley
