Getting Active with FlexiSpot’s Deskcise Pro V9

August 20, 2018 Leave a Comment

A typical day for me is going to work, working at my part time job after that, then coming home after a long day and making dinner, doing laundry and spending time with my family. Aside from that, the majority of my free time is usually spent on my computer working on something blog-related which is practically a full time job on its own. This usually leaves me tired with little time to hit the gym or get a workout in. It just feels like there simply aren’t enough hours in the day and it’s been something I’ve been struggling with now for months. However, I think I’ve finally found a solution with my Deskcise Pro V9 from FlexiSpot!

FlexiSpot desk

FlexiSpot is an innovative brand that encourages people to be more active and avoid being sedentary in our daily routines at home or at work. The Deskcise Pro V9 is an all-in-one stationary bike with a desktop that you can easily work from, watch tv, read, whatever you feel like. It took maybe all of 5 minutes to put together and is easy to adjust to whatever height and distance away from you that you need it to be. I got the white one, but it also comes in black. It’s very compact (only takes up about 3 feet) and very quiet and comfortable. It has 8 resistance levels and I am legitimately sweating using this thing! It may not seem like much of a workout, but I am 100% feeling the burn with my bike!

It has an LCD display that kicks on when you start pedaling and gives you your time, speed, distance, calories burned, total distance and the speed of the wheel and the first set of batteries are included. The desktop can comfortably fit my laptop, phone and a notebook. It also has a cup holder and an armrest which makes typing or reading much more comfortable while spinning.

I was most concerned that it was going to be difficult to type on my computer while using it or that it would be moving around or wobbling since it’s on wheels, but honestly I have had absolutely no issues with this (I’m typing this post from my bike right now!) With the Deskcise Pro V9, you also can stand behind it or just sit comfortably if you don’t feel like spinning the whole time. I have been using the bike for several weeks now and loving it. On average, I’m burning about 280+ calories an hour all while doing what I love to do. That’s a win in my book!

I am seriously so happy with my FlexiSpot bike! On days that I can’t get to the gym or when I just want to hang at home, I no longer have an excuse for not getting some sort of workout in. Now I’m able to multitask from the comfort of my home office and my productivity has increased dramatically. Not to mention, my knees and back are feeling better from not just sitting in the same place. This bike is perfect for work or home with how quiet and compact it is.  I have been trying to live a healthier and more active lifestyle and this bike has helped me tremendously in finding the perfect balance.
