Happy Sunday y’all! This weekend just flew by. I’ve had a super productive weekend, working and cleaning mostly (adulting is hard). I’ve been working on this blog post for a week or so now so I’m excited to get it up today. As we’re getting into summer, I wanted to write a post about swimwear and share some of my faves with you guys. It’s important to me to share not only cute swimsuits with you, but more importantly brands that are representative of all body types. Because let’s face it – it’s not one size fits all. I’m so happy to see more advertisements lately that show curves, cellulite and other not so picture perfect bodies aka reality. I have rounded up a (very) detailed list of my favorite swimwear brands and styles to get you through Summer 2019 and beyond. Each brand that I’m sharing carries a wide variety of sizes, styles and prints that will leave you feeling confident by the pool this summer no matter your size. This is a long one, but I wanted to give you guys as many options and details as possible!
Aerie
I haven’t shopped at Aerie in years until recently and now I’m obsessed with them. They have so many cute clothes and I love that they don’t photoshop their models. Plus, they have some seriously cute (and affordable) swimsuits. They are bright and bold, but also somewhat modest. I found a ton of great one-pieces and mix and match high-waisted bikinis. Here are a few of my faves + some cute cover-ups and sunglasses! They have a bunch more options on their site too!
Miraclesuit
Another swimwear brand I absolutely adore is Miraclesuit. I got two swimsuits from them last year and although they are a little pricier, I can confidently say you are getting a quality, durable swimsuit that will last you a long time. Plus, the fit and designs are so beyond flattering. I wrote a post about the swimsuits I got from them last year that can give you an idea. Their sizes range from a 6-24 and they are slimming and just all around flattering for all body types. These are a few of my faves, but you can find a bunch more on their website.
Modcloth
I am loving Modcloth’s swimwear collection this year. So many cute prints and retro vibes. Think lots of stripes, polka dots, gingham and floral prints. Here’s a few of my favorites from them!
Amazon
I live for Amazon. They have everything and them some and swimsuits are no exception. As with purchasing swimsuits from any other retailer, make sure you read the reviews to figure out which size you need. You have to be careful sometimes when purchasing clothing (or really anything) from Amazon just because you might not be getting what’s pictured. I did make sure to check into each of these items thoroughly to make sure they’re legit though. Items are linked below each picture in the captions!

Pink Desert
I love love LOVE Pink Desert’s swimwear. They have the cutest prints. Think lots of stripes, fruit (like lemons, peaches, etc.) florals and just so many super flattering suits. Just to give you an idea, these are a few of my favorites. Their sizes range from XS – XL.
A few other brands I’d recommend for you to check out:
- Swimsuits for All (great option for any body type, but lots of flattering options especially for curvy gals)
- ASOS (one of my faves and super affordable)
- Albion Fit (so many cute high-waisted and one piece options. A little bit pricier, but I absolutely adore their swimwear!)
- SHEIN (really affordable online store, but definitely read reviews and look at photos other people have uploaded so you can get an idea of how it will look on you)
- Pretty Little Thing (tonnnnsss of cute and affordable options sizes 00-22)
- Target (so many cute swimsuits designed to flatter all shapes and sizes)

If you made it this far, I hope you found this post helpful! I know shopping for swimwear is a dreaded experience for a lot of women so my goal was to make it easy and fun and put a bunch of options together for you all in one place. Have a great week gals!
XOXO,
Ashley
